California K-12 districts can use CTF to receive substantial discounts on Trillion Broadband WAN, VoIP and Internet Servies
The California Teleconnect Fund (CTF) is a California program administered by the California Public Utilities Commission to provide additional discounts to schools, libraries, hospitals and community based organizations for telephone and telecommunications services.
The CTF funds enable K-12 districts in California to purchase Trillion Broadband Wide Area Network services, Voice over IP telephony services and Internet services at a substantial discount. Districts receiving E-Rate funding are eligible for an additional 50% discount on their portion. Districts not using E-Rate funding can receive an even higher discount.
